Dog Muzzle (Busal) Hunting

If I’m looking for gadgets, I first run to Cyberzone located at the 4th and 5th floors of SM Annex, North Edsa because I knew I can likely find what I need and have many options: brand, quality, and prices. But now, I have another reason to visit SM Annex—not for gizmo but for pooch necessities.

At the lower ground floor of the mall, I found Ace Hardware, a store where you can find anything you need for home improvement. So what was I doing there?

My sister asked me to buy dog muzzle (busal) for Pino because he’s having the annual vaccination. Her favor was coupled with an advice, that is, to see if I can find it in Ace Hardware.

Before going there, I went first to the best two places to look for pet supply in North Edsa: first at the supermarket at Landmark (beside Trinoma Mall) where I found many cat and dog foods, few collars, and other pet supplies. Next stop is the SM Hypermarket at the Block where I bought a new dog bowl to replace what Chuchie torn. Bio Research is on my mind. But I opted not to take a look because the last time I went there, only few dog supplies were available; and I can’t remember seeing a dog muzzle in the store.

The last option is Ace Hardware. To my relief, I was able to find dog mask of different sizes. I didn’t hurry in choosing the one which will fit Pino, because I don’t want to go back again just because it’s too small or too big. I think I’m done hunting for that day.

Plastic dog muzzle of different sizes were mixed with collars on the lower shelves. Such arrangement made me think that those items are on sale, yet I might be wrong about it. Still I suppose it is affordable (less than Php 150) and wouldn’t break easily. Inside the store, two-high shelves are filled with dog and cat stuffs: collar, bowl, food, and toys.

I first doubt my sister about her notion of Ace Hardware as a pet supply store as well. Because I wasn’t too weary scouring and I myself want to prove her claim, I went to the store and didn’t regret trusting my sister.

Now I not only know where to go if my computer needs an upgrade but also for my four-legged pals. And about the dog muzzle, my sister had Pino try it on—what a perfect fit—my effort is not wasted.

I used to have long walks in malls if items are on sale but when we have our furry pals, things have change. I still love going to malls, yet in terms of their needs—my sister and I pitch in to buy what they must have, whether on sale or not.
